Accurately maintained windshields and windshield wiper blades are necessary to a smooth driving experience. Your capability to see the road ahead is essential and obvious as this may look on a clear, sunny day; it becomes serious at night or in rough weather conditions. Mr. Lube inspects the windows and windshield wipers themselves so you feel comfortable on the road.
WINDSHIELD REPAIR
Clear vision is critical when you’re behind the wheel. Mr. Lube can help keep your eye on the road by repairing minor cracks and chips in your windshield. Mr. Lube Technicians inject a polymer into the affected spot to repair your windshield. Getting this completed as soon as possible after a damaging event, such as a chip caused by a stone, can prevent a fracture from spreading across the windshield and requiring a replacement which is more costly.
WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADE REPLACEMENT
Over time, rubber elements in your windshield wiper blades crack down due to damage and oxidation from the sun, becoming brittle and stiff. They also wear out from rubbing forth and back across the glass surface. Ultimately, worn windshield wipers leave blurry and steaks spots that affecting your ability to see the road ahead. Each Mr. Lube Signature Service® Oil Change includes a windshield wiper blade inspection. We also check the washer fluid level.
WINDSHIELD TREATMENT
We apply a special chemical treatment exterior glass to help prevent the accumulation of rain, snow, mist and sleet. Many Mr. Lube clients find the treatment improves defogging of the glass, the efficiency of the wipers and / or the ease of clearing a snow-covered car’s windows.
